The Emergency Department (ED) at Inland Valley Hospital plays an essential role in meeting the urgent healthcare needs of residents of Southwest Riverside County. The ED has 26 treatment bays and provides care for more than 30,000 patients every year.
As the region's only Trauma Center, Inland Valley Hospital is prepared to handle medical emergencies 24 hours per day, seven days per week. The department is equipped with advanced diagnostic technology, such as the Helical CT Scanner and nuclear medicine camera that helps physicians pinpoint trauma and save lives.
What to expect when arriving for care
Sudden illness or injury can occur without warning, and while no one typically plans a trip to the ED, everyone should know what to expect after they arrive.
